Harry Potter-Inspired Pumpkins Are The Most Spellbinding Halloween Trend This Year

Someone's created four handy tutorials to help you replicate the magical designs from home.

Forget spending hours carving out a creepy face into your pumpkin this year, as these incredible Harry Potter-inspired designs really put our own efforts to shame.

There's no need to spend hours scooping out the inside of the giant pumpkin either, as these are made by simply painting the orange skin with a brush.

Karen Kavett DIY has created four, bewitching designs for you to try out at home, complete with their own tutorials as well.

The first delightfully magical pumpkin reads 'I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good', and is made by painting the fruit (yes, we did Google check this) with cream chalkboard paint.

Silver stars are added for a little extra sparkle, and the words are created by using rose-gold glitter and black letters in different fonts.

A second pumpkin design combines Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw's house colours - scarlett, green, yellow and blue - and the stalk is painted gold.

There's no need to paint the house colours on the pumpkin either, as the effect is achieved by using colourful sticky tape.

Of course, the collection wouldn't be complete without a pumpkin version of Harry Potter himself.

The pumpkin has been painted white with a lightening bolt scar, plus a pair of round spectacles and a Gryffindor scarf.

His glasses are made from cardboard and sticky paper, and are attached to the fruit by using a glue gun.

Harry's eyes are created by simply using green and white tape, and the scarf is made of red and orange felt.

The cutest pick of the pumpkin patch is the tiny Golden Snitch creation, using wings made out of cardboard and sparkly paper.

These wings are attached to a gold-painted pumpkin with a glue gun, and an intricate, swirly design is added using glow-in-the-dark duct tape.
