Cat Monopoly Exists Where You Buy Cats Instead Of Houses
It's that time of the year where you have your annual meeting with some long lost members of your family and crack out a game of Monopoly.
The board game is a classic, and it is bound to have caused some serious family rifts over the years. Having your bank account wiped out by a hotel on Mayfair or being forced into jail is worth falling out with your sister over, right?
A new version of the game has just been released too, and it's purrrrrrfectly cat-themed.
Cat Opoly is all pretty simple, and the rules are more or less exactly the same just with a feline twist. Instead of buying houses, you buy cats like the Tonkinese, the Ragdoll, the Abyssinian, the Sphinx or the Maine Coon.
Land on catnip and you can collect everything in the centre of the board, and you can also collect litter boxes to trade them in for fish bones. Even the game tokens have had a kitty update.
So, if you're wanting to get your claws on a cat version of Monopoly then you can purchase one from Amazon for a pretty precise price of £52.15.
If kitty cats aren't your thing, then you may be pretty happy to hear that there is also a dog version of the classic family game. Yay!
Dog Opoly celebrates our fab four-legged friends, and is described as a 'tail-wagging' good time. Sounds pretty fun to me.
Like with the cat-themed game, you buy your favourite dogs, and become the proud owner of a butcher shop or the ever popular fire hydrant.
You'll collect $200 whenever you pass Go Fetch, or you might be forced to cough up $200 because you have the dreaded flees. Uh-oh.

This puppy version of the board game is also available on Amazon, but is actually a little bit cheaper at £34.95.
