Despite how appealing it may look lying around all day and getting stroked, being a cat isn't easy work. It's easy to forget how simple it is for us humans to do simple tasks like grabbing a glass of water, but it's not so easy for our feline friends who are, you know, without thumbs.
One cat in particular has won the hearts of Twitter users all over the world for his drinking problem, or more specifically his inability to drink from a tap, and it's absolutely adorable.
Owner Maddie Joel took to Twitter with the heartwarming video of her kitty struggling to drink water from a tap, with the caption: "My son is really bad at drinking water."
The cat can be seen sticking his furry little head underneath the stream while crying to catch the water in his mouth, but missing over and over again.

Maddie's post has since been shared nearly 500,000 times with nearly 150,000 retweets and people can't get enough of it.
It turns out Maddie's cat isn't the only feline friend to have this problem either, as other Twitter users rushed to share videos of their own cats struggling to drink from a tap.
However, one cat owner had some pretty inspiring words, responding: "a lil bit of practice is all it takes [sic]," along with an adorable video of her cat successfully drinking from a tap.
