The Most Christmassy Pub In London Has Turned On Its Lights

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Michael Bublé has emerged from hibernation, we've all seen the John Lewis ad and we're already a bit sick of turkey.

But, one tradition we are happy to get on board with is this... The Churchill Arms - arguably the most Christmassy pub in London - has turned on it's lights.

We aren't talking about a measly string of fairy lights and a few limp pieces of tinsel. Oh, no. The Churchill Arms, Kensington, a historic pub, which was built way back in 1750, certainly don't do festive decor by halves.

In fact the pub is perhaps best known for its foliage-covered exterior (and annual flower budget of £25,000) for 11 months of the year.

But this Christmas they've gone all out to deck the halls adding 90 Christmas trees - more than ever before - and a whopping 21,500 lights to its exterior.

If you fancy paying The Churchill Arms a visit this Christmas, you'll find it at 119 Kensington Church Street, W8 7LN you can't miss it. It's a short walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station. Head inside for plenty of Churchill memorabilia (his grandparents were patrons in the 1800s and it was renamed in his honour post WW2), ales and hearty Thai food.
