What would we do without search engines or social media?

There is no other way we'd be able to keep tabs on all our fave celebs, or find out what Dennis Wise's real height is at 1am either.

A list of the ten most searched celebrities of 2017 in the UK has just been published by Yahoo US, and the results are actually pretty surprising.

Taking the number one slot was Ed Sheeran who pipped Ariana Grande and Cheryl Tweedy to the post.

The full list is as follows:

1. Ed Sheeran

2. Ariana Grande

3. Cheryl

4. Katie Price

5. Little Mix

6. Meghan Markle

7. Tom Hardy

8. Pippa Middleton

9. Katy Perry

10. Emma Watson

I wouldn't have guessed some of these TBH.

Meghan Markle has already got the title of number six, and her relationship with Prince Harry is probably behind all the searching IMO.

Interestingly, the future Queen and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton doesn't even feature on the list of Yahoo's most searched celebrities, but surprisingly her younger sister Pippa Middleton has been placed at number eight. Confusing.

Still, Meghan has even beat Pippa on the list, coming up higher on the star studded list.

It has also been predicted that Meghan will soar to the top slot on the list, following her engagement to Prince Harry. The pair are set to marry in spring 2018, meaning a Royal wedding is just around the corner.

The Royal relationship news was posted on Kensington Palace's Twitter account, in a series of tweets which read: "Prince Harry and Ms Markle became engaged in London earlier this month.

"Prince Harry has informed The Queen and other close members of The Royal Family."
