I don't know what it is about a man with a beard, but to me they are automatically 100x better looking with some facial fuzz.

I'm pretty sure I have pogonophilia, which is basically someone who's incredibly attracted to men with beards. Hipsters, watch out.

Alan Carr has just shocked fans by posting this picture of him sporting a full beard and, I have to say, he looks amazing.

He captioned the pic: "I think being a hipster suits me". Yes, Alan. Yes it does.

The 41-year-old usually sports a clean-shaven look, so you can imagine the response from fans.

Well actually you don't have to imagine because I'll tell you.

One fan wrote: "Omg I didn't realise that was you. Love seeing your beautiful face & smile trim it off," while another added: "Had to look twice ! Not your best look."

Urm, sorry?! Is everyone looking at the same picture as me? He looks amazing!

Another fan added: "Hobo more like! I prefer you clean-shaven Alan."

Sadly, it looks like the beard is a FAKE. Why, Alan?! Whyyyyy?!

How do we know? Well, he's only just posted this tweet on September 11 alongside the beautiful Liz Hurley.

So unless he's got beard growing superpowers then it's a stick-on.

He captioned the pic: "Me and the gorgeous Liz Hurley trading (well, holding up phones in a staged manner) #BGCCharityDay"

TBF, I'm glad. It was weird fancying him.

Let's have a little throwback to the time that Justin Bieber appeared on Alan's show, Chattyman, and threw a load of Maltesers into his gob. No, I don't know why either but hey, such is life.

You've got to love him, haven't you?
